Teledyne ISCO Water products are used stormwater applications in urban, residential agricultural and industrial settings, in both private and public applications, to measure flow rates and collect samples of raw wastewater (sewage and industrial applications), recovered (treated) wastewater, and stormwater.  We developed the first non-contact liquid detector, and all of our equipment is built on decades of experience, expertise and dedication.

Our products include area velocity flow meters, remote communications, data management and analysis softwareproduct rental and “data as a service" programs. These tools measure the flowrate and quantity of raw and treated wastewater, stormwater and industrial effluent in open channel, partially filled and full pipe for a variety of purposes. Many are offered in an intrinsically safe option for installation in hazardous areas defined as Class 1, Div 1, Zone 0 and ATEX category 1G.

In addition, we field a rugged, dependable line of automatic samplers, including portable and refrigerated models. In fact, we developed the first outdoor refrigerated sampler and the first sampler with interchangeable modules for measuring flow and parameters.

Durability, ease of use, accuracy and innovation are hallmarks of all our products. With all we have to offer in equipment, service and satisfaction, we're confident Teledyne ISCO Water has perfect solutions to suit your specific needs.

How To Do Stormwater Sampling

The first step in taking a stormwater sample is to become fully aware of and comply with all local, state, and federal rules, regulations, and stormwater permit conventions. These include sampling and data collection stipulations. Once those rules and regulations are understood, site selection, sampler type, and protocols can be determined.

There are several stormwater sampling techniques, from manual sampling to automated devices for water, wastewater and stormwater sampling, like the stormwater monitoring and measurement instruments and equipment designed, built and offered by Teledyne ISCO. This includes rain gauges, samplers, flowmeters, telemetry, and data management tools that can be used when a storm event occurs.
